We are delighted to confirm that Wake Up Wells Community Day: The Big Picnic WILL be taking place on Saturday 24th July between 11am and 4pm at Wells Cathedral, Cathedral Green, Wells Cathedral School, Wells Museum and Bishop’s Palace.  

Bring a picnic lunch and join with the community in celebrating our special city and all it has to offer, with music, dance demonstrations, family workshops and have-a-go activities, outdoor theatre, a country fete and exhibition stalls.

This event couldn’t happen without the generosity and support of the community, particularly the Wells Heritage Partners - Wells Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and Wells Museum, Mendip District and Wells City councils, Rotary Club of Wells, Project Factory CIC, Wells Community Network, Sustainable Wells Fresh & Good Collective, Mendip Community Policing - there are too many to mention.
